Coops has always put the welfare of local communities, our workforce, and the environment at the top of our values. We choose to build relationships and work with clients who are similarly socially aligned.
Coops have focused on building long-term positive relationships with our community and communities where we work. This includes making frequent visits and interactions, donating meals and services to community organisations, raising funds for organisations through utilising our contacts, holding educational events and opportunities for local youth-at-risk, and providing direct donations.
Social Involvement
We are proud to be part of numerous social initiatives over the years. Some of these include Box Off the Streets, donating a truck towards Oakey's Carnival of Flowers float to allow local community groups to use their skills, as well as offering work experience and work skills to youth in the region.
Dave is directly involved as the vice president of Oakey Chamber of Commerce, is an active board member of EMERGE, is a committee member of Oakey Agricultural and pastoral rodeo and show society, ongoing sponsor of Oakey Bears Football Club and proud supporter of QCWA Oakey Branch.
